Xiaomi launches next-gen SU7 with 902 km range and Lidar, still undercuts Tesla

Xiaomi has launched the next-generation SU7 electric sedan featuring up to 902 km CLTC range, standard LiDAR across all trims, and an 897V charging architecture on the top model, with prices starting at 229,900 yuan (~$33,000). The updated platform brings significantly faster charging (10-80% in ~11 minutes on Max), more power across all trims, and upgraded chassis components including air suspension on the Pro model. Notably, LiDAR and 700 TOPS computing power are now standard on every trim, making the base model's sensor suite competitive with far more expensive rivals while still undercutting the Tesla Model 3 in China.
