Show HN: Baltic shadow fleet tracker – live AIS, cable proximity alerts

An open-source tool that monitors 1200+ vessels from the Ukrainian GUR War & Sanctions catalogue using live AIS data in the Baltic Sea. It plots vessel positions on a self-updating map, alerts on proximity to undersea cables, detects loitering and Russia–West transshipment patterns, and logs all data to SQLite for offline analysis. The project runs locally with no cloud dependency, requiring only a free AISStream API key.
