Sales automation startup Rox AI hits $1.2B valuation, sources say

Rox, a startup building autonomous AI agents for sales productivity, has reached a $1.2B valuation in a funding round led by General Catalyst. Founded in 2024 by former New Relic chief growth officer Ishan Mukherjee, the company deploys hundreds of AI agents that integrate with existing tools like Salesforce and Zendesk to monitor accounts, research prospects, and update CRMs. Rox competes with revenue intelligence providers like Gong and Clari, as well as AI sales platforms such as 11x and Artisan.
