Linking Two Research Papers to Real AI Applications

This article connects two research papers to AI course concepts: one surveys how LLM-based agents perform deep search by reasoning over solution spaces similarly to goal-based and utility-based agents, while the other proposes Adaptive Path Planning using Weighted A* with dynamic heuristic rewards to improve classical A* search. Both papers demonstrate how foundational search algorithms (BFS, DFS, A*) taught in academic settings are being extended and applied in modern AI systems.
