Cloudflare Phases Out In-Place DNS Updates, Leaving Pulumi Users at Risk

Cloudflare's June 30 deprecation of in-place DNS type changes will break non-Terraform automation, from Pulumi to custom scripts and internal tools, with undefined failure modes. While Terraform handles this through safe delete-and-create logic, other tools must migrate quickly to prevent critical NXDOMAIN caching issues that block mail delivery and application routing.
