Brinc, a drone startup founded by former Thiel Fellow Blake Resnick, launched its Guardian drone designed to replace police helicopters. Guardian features 60 mph speed, 62-minute flight time, thermal and 4K cameras, and is the first public safety drone with an embedded Starlink panel for global connectivity. The company, backed early by Sam Altman, is valued at nearly half a billion dollars and aims to become the 'DJI of the West.'
