Coasts.dev is a new open-source (MIT) tool that solves the limitation of git worktrees in multi-agent coding workflows—worktrees isolate code but not runtimes. Coasts provides fully containerized, configurable environments so each agent gets its own isolated runtime (ports, services, volumes), eliminating the need for multiple physical machines. It works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other agent tools.
