What 81,000 people want from AI

Anthropic conducted what it believes is the largest and most multilingual qualitative study ever, interviewing 80,508 Claude users across 159 countries and 70 languages about their hopes, concerns, and experiences with AI. Using a Claude-powered interviewer and classifiers, the study captured rich open-ended responses about what people want from AI, whether they're getting it, and what they fear might go wrong.
