Why it matters
Google이 발표한 WebMCP는 AI agents가 웹사이트의 구조화된 JavaScript 함수를 직접 호출할 수 있게 하는 브라우저 네이티브 API이다. 기존의 비효율적인 DOM 파싱과 인터페이스 시뮬레이션 대신 Model Context Protocol (MCP) 개념을 브라우저에 맞게 구현한 것이다.
