Video Conferencing with Durable Streams

The author built a video conferencing app using S2 durable streams, where live media, recording, replay, and MP4 export all reduce to simple stream reads and appends with no separate pipelines needed. SpacetimeDB and PlanetScale previously demonstrated similar concepts routing video through databases, but S2's ordered, durable stream primitive provides a natural fit where recording is a no-op and replay is just another read from an earlier position.
