Vercel’s "Agentic" Shift: Is Your Proprietary Code Now Training AI?

Vercel has introduced an 'Agentic Infrastructure' update that uses customers' source code and agent chats to train AI models, with data also shared with third-party AI providers. Hobby and Trial Pro plans are opted-in by default, and even Pro/Enterprise plans show inconsistent opt-out toggles. Teams must navigate to Data Preferences and disable the setting before the March 31, 2026 deadline, after which already-ingested data cannot be removed from training sets.
