Bumpboxx has launched the BB-777, a modern recreation of the iconic Sharp GF-777 boombox, featuring dual-cassette decks, Bluetooth, a slot-loading CD player, USB audio playback, and 270W of speaker output. Priced at $649 on Kickstarter with a retail price of $1,049, the 28-pound unit adds modern conveniences like a rechargeable battery and LCD screen while retaining the classic design. It can also record from tape, CD, or radio directly to a USB drive for archiving.
