Sovereign API Constraints: Ripping out Stripe for a Global Merchant of Record (MoR)

The author replaced Stripe with a Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy) in their LLM inference cluster after discovering Stripe doesn't legally support business entities in their region. The MoR handles global VAT/tax compliance and payouts, eliminating the need for US LLC virtualization. The existing HMAC-SHA256 webhook verification architecture was seamlessly ported to the new payment provider while maintaining consumption-based token metering.
