Plane and ground vehicle collide at New York's LaGuardia airport halting flights

An Air Canada regional jet (CRJ 900) operated by Jazz Aviation collided with a Port Authority firefighting vehicle on the ground at LaGuardia Airport after landing from Montreal, causing significant damage to the aircraft and multiple injuries among the roughly 76 people on board. The airport was closed and a ground stop was issued by the FAA, with the NTSB launching an investigation.
