Office.eu launches as Europe's sovereign office platform

Office.eu, a fully European-owned office suite built on open-source technology (Nextcloud), has officially launched in The Hague as a sovereign alternative to Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. The platform runs entirely on European infrastructure, complies with EU data protection laws, and offers document editing, collaboration, and secure storage. A phased European rollout is planned for Q2 2026, with migration tools available for switching from Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
