Nuclear Option Day: Validator Rewrite, 63 New Packs, 414 Plugins

On March 21st, a massive overhaul of the claude-code-plugins ecosystem took place with 40 commits, including a complete validator rewrite (v5.0) aligned to Anthropic's 2026 plugin specification requiring 14 mandatory fields. The old validator's scattered logic was replaced with a single-function, stateless validator that maps 1:1 to the schema registry, while 63 new SaaS packs were generated and the marketplace grew from ~350 to 414 plugins. A key architectural shift moved validation from the individual skill level to the plugin level, eliminating inconsistencies where plugins could pass marketplace checks but fail in Claude Code or vice versa.
