My home network observes bedtime with OpenBSD and pf

The author sets up an OpenBSD-based router using a fanless Qotom mini PC with Intel ethernet to replace a Ubiquiti UniFi Security Gateway. The goal is to automatically cut off home internet access on a bedtime schedule using pf firewall rules, while allowing exceptions for servers needing overnight backups and updates. As a bonus, the setup includes local DNS caching to experiment with DNS sinkhole functionality similar to Pi-hole.
