From Honeypot to Threat Intelligence: Building a Local Security Operations Center

This project proves that enterprise-grade security monitoring doesn't require expensive cloud platforms. By combining a honeypot for authentic attack data, Wazuh for threat detection, and local AI for rapid analysis, this mini-SOC shows how security professionals can implement comprehensive threat monitoring on a single laptop—without external dependencies or vendor lock-in.
