Migrating to the EU

The author is migrating personal digital services from non-EU providers to EU-based alternatives, motivated by the political climate and stronger EU data protection laws. Email moved from Fastmail to Uberspace, calendar to NextCloud with CalDAV/CardDAV, and web hosting consolidated on Uberspace replacing a Hetzner VPS. The post serves as an interim report documenting each migration step and the trade-offs involved.
