mediaforge — A Modern TypeScript FFmpeg Wrapper (fluent-ffmpeg is Dead, Long Live mediaforge)

mediaforge is a new TypeScript-first FFmpeg wrapper for Node.js 18+, designed to replace the unmaintained fluent-ffmpeg. It offers a fluent builder API with zero native bindings, plus built-in helpers for screenshots, two-pass encoding, stream I/O, EBU R128 audio normalization, adaptive HLS, and runtime capability detection of the system FFmpeg binary.
