Marquis, a fintech company serving hundreds of banks, disclosed that over 672,000 people had personal and financial data—including SSNs, bank accounts, and card numbers—stolen in an August 2025 ransomware attack. The company has sued its firewall provider SonicWall, alleging security failings that enabled hackers to compromise its network.
