Long fingernails vs. touchscreens: This nail polish could help

Long fingernails don't work well with capacitive touchscreens because nails are non-conductive. Researcher Manasi Desai at Centenary College of Louisiana is developing a clear, non-toxic conductive nail polish that can be applied over any manicure to enable touchscreen use with fingernails. Existing solutions use carbon nanotubes or metallic particles but have safety and aesthetic limitations.
