Local LLM by Ente

Ente has released Ensu, an offline LLM chat app that runs entirely on-device with full privacy and zero cost. The company argues that while a capability gap exists between frontier and local models, smaller models are rapidly improving and will soon cross a usability threshold sufficient for most purposes. Ensu will later support encrypted backup and sync across devices via Ente accounts or self-hosting.
