KIRO and AMDF MCP For create reusable packages for Kubernetes with (KRO)

This post demonstrates how to use KIRO and the AMDF MCP tool to rapidly create reusable Kubernetes packages from CRDs using KCL instead of traditional YAML. The workflow connects the AMDF MCP server, uses KIRO with simple prompts to auto-generate KCL directory structures, and migrates Crossplane definitions to KRO ResourceGraphDefinitions with helper functions and CEL expressions. KCL provides strong typing, development-time validation, and abstraction capabilities that produce robust, maintainable infrastructure-as-data.
