Judge orders restoration of Voice of America

A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to restore Voice of America operations after it was effectively shut down a year ago, putting over 1,000 employees back to work. Judge Lamberth ruled that Kari Lake lacked legal authority for her actions and gave the U.S. Agency for Global Media one week to plan VOA's return to air. VOA, which has broadcast news in 49 languages to 362 million people since WWII, had been operating with a skeleton staff.
