Jemalloc un-abandoned by Meta

Meta is renewing its commitment to jemalloc, the high-performance memory allocator, after acknowledging that recent development had drifted from core engineering principles and accumulated technical debt. The original open-source repository has been unarchived following conversations with the community and founder Jason Evans, with plans focusing on technical debt reduction, codebase modernization, and improving the huge-page allocator.
