Israel deliberately targeting medical facilities in south Lebanon

Lebanese officials report that Israel has deliberately targeted at least 128 medical facilities and ambulances in south Lebanon since the war began on 2 March, killing 40 healthcare workers, including through double-tap strikes. Amnesty International states that targeting medical workers is unlawful under international law, while Israel has accused Hezbollah of using ambulances for military purposes without providing evidence. The Guardian's investigation of multiple destroyed medical centres found no evidence of military use at any of the sites.
