AWS Adds Per-User Cost Tracking to Amazon Bedrock

AWS has closed a critical governance gap by enabling cost allocation at the IAM principal level in Amazon Bedrock. Teams can now identify exactly which users generated AI spending, moving beyond team-level budget caps to granular cost attribution. While data arrives with 24-48 hour latency, this enables precise chargeback and accountability for enterprise AI workloads.
