Beyond Vector Search: The Smarter Memory Layer for AI Agents

AI agents built with Anthropic's Claude or OpenAI often suffer from 'context amnesia'—forgetting past conversations and user preferences between sessions. This work introduces a memory layer that replaces traditional cosine similarity search with reinforcement learning scoring, where recalled memories improve over time based on usage feedback. The seamless integration—requiring only an import change—makes sophisticated, stateful AI agents accessible to developers without complex RAG pipeline engineering.
