No Cloud Needed: How Hermes Agent Powers Farming Intelligence on Android Phones

This project proves that agentic AI systems can deliver enterprise-quality guidance to underserved communities without requiring cloud infrastructure or expensive hardware. By running Hermes Agent on Android phones via Termux, the system provides context-aware, region-specific farming advice—making professional agricultural intelligence accessible to farmers in rural India. The achievement challenges assumptions about where advanced AI can be deployed, suggesting its real value lies in bringing multi-step reasoning to communities historically excluded from premium tools.
