Hands on with Aqara’s new Matter-compatible camera

Aqara's Camera Hub G350 is the first Matter-compatible camera, supporting Matter 1.5 with pan-and-tilt, dual-lens (4K wide-angle and 2.5K telephoto), and 360-degree coverage. Currently, Matter functionality only works with Samsung SmartThings, and the experience is limited to live streaming, though the camera also supports HomeKit Secure Video, Alexa, Google Home, and RTSP. Matter camera support promises unified multi-brand camera management through a single platform, but the ecosystem is still in its early stages.
