Gecko Robotics lands the largest U.S. Navy robotics deal yet

Gecko Robotics has signed a five-year, up to $71 million IDIQ deal with the U.S. Navy and GSA—the Navy's largest robotics contract to date—starting with an initial $54 million award. The company's robots and sensors will inspect and create digital twins of Navy ships, beginning with 18 vessels in the U.S. Pacific Fleet, to accelerate maintenance decisions and boost ship readiness from roughly 40% to the Navy's 80% goal by 2027.
