EU Inc.: A new harmonised corporate legal regime

The European Commission proposes EU Inc., a '28th regime' creating a unified corporate legal framework across the EU covering corporate, insolvency, labour and tax law. It offers fast (48-hour), low-cost (max €100), fully digital company registration with simplified lifecycle procedures, modern financing instruments, and harmonised deferred taxation for employee stock options. While designed primarily for startups and innovative companies, the framework is available to any founder alongside existing national company forms.
