Why it matters
Data center developer Crusoe is purchasing 12 GWh of Form Energy's 100-hour iron-air batteries, with deliveries starting in 2027, marking Form's second major sale after a 30 GWh deal with Google. Crusoe is also expanding its partnership with Redwood Materials, adding 8 MW of repurposed EV battery capacity to its existing 12 MW second-life battery microgrid installation.
