Cloud service providers ask EU regulator to reinstate VMware partner program

A trade association of cloud service providers (CISPE) filed an antitrust complaint with the European Commission over Broadcom's termination of VMware's CSP partner program in Europe. Since acquiring VMware, Broadcom has drastically reduced partners from over 4,000 to roughly 19 in the US and nine in the UK by imposing minimum core requirements. CISPE is urging the EC to impose interim measures requiring Broadcom to reopen the program and reinstate displaced partners.
