Animated 'Firefly' Reboot in Development from Nathan Fillion, 20th TV

Nathan Fillion announced that an animated Firefly reboot is in early development at 20th Television Animation, with Tara Butters and Marc Guggenheim set as showrunners and animation by ShadowMachine. The series will be set between the original 2002 TV run and the 2005 film Serenity, with a script already written and Joss Whedon's blessing.
