A station wagon is entering one of the hardest 24-hour races in the world

BMW is entering a station wagon version of its M4 GT3 EVO race car in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, with the highlight being the Nürburgring 24H race in mid-May. The project originated as an April Fool's joke but gained real backing after overwhelmingly positive fan reactions. The NLS was chosen because GT3 regulations require a two-door coupe as a starting point, making entries at Le Mans, Daytona, or Spa impossible for a wagon.
