A Scavengers Reign artist explores contemplative sci-fi in new comics

French artist and animator Jonathan Djob Nkondo, known for Scavengers Reign and Gorillaz projects, is releasing English versions of two previously French-published graphic novels—Peaceful Remission and Wandering—via a Kickstarter that has raised over $100,000 against a $7,500 goal. Both books feature contemplative sci-fi narratives with visually driven storytelling, exploring intimate personal relationships set in striking alien and futuristic environments.
