‘Work from home,’ encourages the world’s energy watchdog

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has issued ten immediate recommendations to curb energy demand amid supply disruptions caused by the war in Iran, including encouraging remote work, reducing highway speed limits, and shifting to electric cooking. These measures primarily target road transport, which accounts for about 45% of global oil demand, as gas prices surged following US and Israeli strikes against Iran on February 28th.
